Ever feel you’re out there on a limb and don’t know where to turn? Now you don’t have to. ALDA members are your peers and readily share information and resources. Informal membership meetings are held twice annually in conjunction with major industry tradeshows.
ALDA Membership meetings are one part information, one part business, and one part friends and fun.
Information covers lots of territory. For example
The Business portion of our meetings deals with the association’s affairs, elects officers and directors, and allows all members to participate and have a voice in ALDA’s strategic direction and activities.
Much of our meeting time is devoted to friends and fun. Your fellow ALDA members become your friends and resources. Members discuss business issues in semi-formal round table sessions. They help each other with their challenges and opportunities, share information (and maybe some gossip), and swap products and stories. We may have an Italian dinner feast, a New York deli luncheon, an evening of games and lighthearted competition, or a moonlight lake cruise.
In short, ALDA members come away from our meeting full of ideas, full of fun, and full of food.
